So what do we trust, her supposed conversion during the hearings where she said that her judicial philosophy was “fidelity to the law?” Or her own words where she said that court was the place where policy is made? Looks like her words are coming back to haunt her, again. In a representative democracy, this would actually matter, but in the one-party state we now live in, we can be all but certain that this sort of judge will be confirmed. Surreal.
